Time magazine names Bernanke 'Person of the Year'


(it's 1984 . . . . up is down, black is white, polar bears can't swim, the sun has no affect on climate, gangster-bankers that bankrupt society are saviors . . . )


NEW YORK – Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke (bur-NANG'-kee) has been named Time magazine's "Person of the Year" for 2009.

Last year's winner was then-President-elect Barack Obama. The 2007 winner was Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

Other previous winners have included Bono, President George W. Bush, and Amazon.com CEO and founder Jeff Bezos (BAY'-zohs.)
